Bluemax Kennels was named after Germany's highest military medal awarded during World War One, the French sounding Pour le Merite (also known the as 'The Blue Max')

Bluemax Kennels have been breeding quality Best in Show winners for more then 30 years. We have won the Brisbane Royal Grand Champion in show, also many Best in Show winners who include Bluemax Flare who was awarded Siegerine at a Main Breed Show, Excellent Select Bluemax Gambler along with over 40 Champions that have been bred by us.

Bluemax Kennels has also received a plaque in recognition from the German Shepherd Club of Australia for breeding over 100 animals that have achieved their pass for hips.

We pride ourselves on breeding dogs that have excellent temperaments to give many families joy and companionship over many years and all our dogs are raised with children.

Our dogs are not kept locked up in kennels and are quite happy and relaxed spending most of the day sleeping under a shady tree or the afternoons playing.
